Shortly afterwards, the champions went down to 10 men when goalkeeper Jack Edwards was shown a red card for a foul as he raced out of his box to clear a through ball, although any contact appeared minimal. Jordan Davies doubled the lead in the 33rd minute, showing good perseverance to score his 13th of the season.
