Colwyn Bay take their strong league form into a Welsh Cup clash with Buckley Town this Saturday. The Seagulls travel for the Round of 64 tie at 2pm on the back of four wins from their last five Cymru Premier outings.
That run has lifted them to fifth place in the league, with 25 points from 13 games. Their most recent result was a 1-0 away win at Flint Town United last weekend, secured by a goal from S. Forde.
Buckley Town, who play in the FAW Championship, will provide a different test. They come into the match after a 3-2 away victory over Bala Town.
Colwyn Bay fielded a settled side in that win over Flint, with the lineup including M. Halstead in goal and a midfield featuring C. Bratley and A. Davies. The team's recent form, which reads WLWWW, shows a defence that has kept three clean sheets in those five games.
After the cup tie, attention returns to the league. The next fixture is a home match against Cambrian & Clydach on 30 October.
