Colwyn Bay Football Club's community work has been praised for making a difference off the pitch. The club's charitable arm, the CBFC Foundation, delivers various programmes for people of all ages, including health, wellbeing, and personal development activities. The foundation runs free street football sessions to tackle anti-social behaviour, as well as school engagement schemes, holiday programmes, disability sports, girls' football initiatives, and broader community outreach. Tom Montgomery, member of the Senedd, said: "Colwyn Bay Seagulls are flying high for our local community! Everyone involved should be extremely proud of the programme of activities delivered to help people of all ages struggling with poverty, poor health, social isolation, and limited access to positive activities. Football is more than just a game. It can be the heart of a community. The Seagulls are a brilliant example of that."
